If you register interest on behalf of a venue or business, we rely on the consent you provide when submitting the form to use the contact details you give us to respond to your enquiry and contact you about bringing HowTo? to your venue or business.
This may include contacting you by email or, where you have provided a mobile number and selected phone contact, by telephone. If you select either as your preferred contact method, we may contact you using either of the contact methods you have provided.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting aaron@howtoguide.uk .

Where another lawful basis applies to a particular use of your information, we will identify and document that basis appropriately.
Beta testing
If you select the option indicating that you are interested in beta testing HowTo?, we will record that preference.
This does not guarantee participation in a beta test. It allows us to identify and contact people who have expressed an interest when suitable testing opportunities become available.
Who processes your information?
HowTo? uses third-party technology providers to operate the website, securely store registration information and deliver emails.
These currently include:
- Cloudflare, website hosting, delivery and related infrastructure.
- Supabase, database infrastructure used to store waiting-list registrations.
- Resend, email delivery services used to send HowTo? communications.
These providers may process personal information on behalf of HowTo? in accordance with their respective services and data-protection arrangements.
Where information is processed internationally, HowTo? will take appropriate steps to ensure that relevant data-protection requirements are met.
How long do we keep your information?
We will keep waiting-list information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purposes described in this notice.
If you register interest on behalf of a venue or business, we will keep your enquiry and contact information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, discuss potential participation in HowTo?, and manage any ongoing relationship with your venue or business.
If a venue or business does not proceed with HowTo?, we will periodically review the information we hold and delete or anonymise personal information that is no longer required, unless we have another lawful reason to retain it.
We will also review the information we hold as HowTo? moves from its pre-launch stage into general availability and will delete or anonymise information that is no longer required, unless we have a lawful reason to retain it.
If you withdraw your consent or ask us to stop contacting you, we may retain limited information where necessary to record your preference and ensure that you are not contacted again unintentionally.
